This modern home is located on the 'Riverside' of Turangi in the Central Plateau. There is so much to do in this part of the world.
Just a short stroll to the Tongariro River for some great trout fishing, bush walks and river rafting. Only 40 minutes drive to Mt Ruapehu and Whakapapa Skifield or just over an hour further to Ohakune and the Turoa skifield.
The living areas are spacious with easy access onto a private, covered deck area that is north facing and a great place to relax in the sun with a good book or chill out with family and friends. This home is fully equipped with most things you will need. The kitchen is modern or if you can't be bothered cooking, there are some lovely cafes and restaurants to dine in.
Winter Sports
It is just a 40min drive to the mountain, hire shops just round the corner. Every thing is on your door step.
Tokaanu Hot Pools after a long day up the mountain to relax those aching muscles.
Summer Sports: Swimming, boating, water-skiing, canoeing and fishing are just a few things that you can take part in on the lake.
There are some amazing walks, including the world famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Turangi also has a golf course and clubrooms.
Taupo is only a 35 minute drive north for Bungy Jumping, Sky diving, Parasailing, Prawn Park and Huka Jet and all the extreme sports you could think of.
