We expect applications to be processed as soon as possible. The processing time may be delayed or unable to be processed because the information provided is not complete or incorrect. At times there may be several applications on one property, while your application for that property may not be successful, it does not necessarily mean that you are unsuitable. You will be notified if your application has been successful or not.

In Terms of the Privacy Act 1993 you are given notice that:

1. This application form asks you to provide personal information to assess your eligibility as a tenant.
2. I am aware that this information may be used in the granting, continuation, or termination of a tenancy and for follow up of any outstanding matters (arrears, damage, disposal of goods etc) resulting at the end of the tenancy.
3. This information is required to assist the landlord in locating you to enforce any unsatisfied money order made by the Tenancy Tribunal.
4. I/we advise you that you have the right to see any information I/we hold about you and to correct the information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.
5. If you do not enter a tenancy agreement with the landlord referred to on this application form, the form will be destroyed.
6. You are advised that some information relating to your identity and last known address may be supplied to a national web-based database.

Declaration:

I declare that I consent to Independent Property Management Ltd (IPM)

1. Contacting my employer/s or any person or company named in the application form to confirm, verify and expand on any information given herein and to enquire as to any information which is deemed necessary or relevant for the purposes of processing this tenancy application
2. Searching Tenancy Tribunal orders and judgement as part of the application approval process
3. Using any information on this form to enforce any judgement in respect of the tenancy agreement or in respect of any order made against me made by the Tenancy Tribunal
4. Completing a credit check on the person named in this application and to lodge my details on Baycorp, The National Tenancy Database, Tenancy NZ Ltd, or any other relevant database.
5. I acknowledge that this application is subject to the approval of the owner/landlord
6. I understand and agree that, if approved, such approval shall be on the basis that the applicant shall be party to the subsequent Tenancy Agreement entered into and conditional on the following:

• Payment of up to four weeks rent as bond
• Payment of up to two weeks rent in advance
• Payment of one week’s rent as a letting fee (Plus GST)
• The written agreement being signed
• Completion of the agreement seven days before the tenancy begins.
